This is the last model I used in our 2010 Rain photoshoot. I wanted to play around with having a darker root shade, giving her some playful lighter pieces throughout the ends. Her cut has shorter layers through the crown and I wanted to use a strong fringe and then offset it with the softness of the waves. Doesn’t she look fab?!! She was an amazing choice and a true natural in front of the camera. Victor Cuevas and I worked together for styling on the day of the shoot.

I’ve been doing Sam’s hair for about a year, she is amazing in so many ways. Firstly she is a tremendous DJ, but for me as a stylist she is a challenge for a fresh idea every time. It`s usually a creative collaboration between her and I.

We have learned how to work together famously. We have played around with lots of different ideas on her side panel with the top 3 being checkers, leopard print and at christmas we even shaved a star into it. It is a lot of fun and I love being a part of the magic that is Blontron.

It has taken me so long to get these pics up, but finally they are here! All three of the last models are from a photo shoot that I did with Simona Heger, another very talented stylist at Rain Boutique and Salon. All the hair styling was done by Simona, the make-up was done by me of course, and the amazing photography by Jessica Taylor. Keep your eyes out for my next post which is another shoot we did with Jessica. Victor Cuevas and I collaborated on a model. I did the cut and color, and he did the styling on the shoot day. Our model was amazing!! I can’t wait to post them!!!!
